The Opportunity Join a dynamic systems team and play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of current Mission Planning & Control product programs while contributing to the development and success of future projects.Engage in diverse phases of the product lifecycle, from defining requirements and designing solutions to verification, certification, and in-service support.Collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, with opportunities to directly contribute to high-impact partnerships.As part of the team, you'll build your expertise in the products, programs, and the business, with the goal of transitioning into a technical lead or work package lead role. This role typically involves managing a small team and taking responsibility for one of our Export programs.What We’re Looking For Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively manage and guide a small team of engineers, ensuring projects are planned and executed to maintain progress, meeting deadlines and budget constraints.Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on building collaborative relationships and working effectively with diverse teams.Systems Engineering Expertise: Strong background in systems engineering, with a comprehensive understanding of lifecycle considerations.Proven experience working with hierarchical, traceable requirements and designs under configuration control. Adaptability: Quick learner with the capability to tackle complex problems and acquire deep technical understanding.Technical Proficiency: Experience with DOORS NG (or Classic DOORS).Proficiency in IBM Engineering Workflow Management (formerly Rational Team Concert).Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and familiarity with SysML is a significant advantage.
