Supply Lead Hybrid – Tewkesbury Permanent PositionWe are looking for a Supplier Lead for our client within the Aerospace industry, based in Tewkesbury. Please note the nature of this role will require working with teams located in different time zones, resulting in the need to be flexible with working hours, as required. The role also involves travel throughout the UK and Europe.  As a Supplier Lead, you’ll be responsible for the management of assigned suppliers. You’ll develop and maintain effective relationships with your designated and the supply chain team. Identification and pursuit of quality, cost, delivery, and lead time improvements.Key Responsibilities – Supply Lead Responsible for developing and managing effective supplier relationships to achieve the business requirements.Responsible for the surveillance and monitoring of assigned suppliers.Evaluation of supplier performance including the Identification & mitigation of risk.Provides effective purchase order management to insure current and verified delivery information is reflected using standard systems and processes.Ensures the effective and timely closure of root cause and corrective actions.When necessary expedites supplier deliveries to achieve site operational requirements.Leads problem solving activities to resolve issue affecting supplier relationships and supply chain performance.Support and potentially lead supplier performance recovery & improvement activities.Provides regional support for supplier selection, supplier development and NPI.Using regional and supplier knowledge to provide input to supply chain planning.Identification and pursuit of quality, cost, delivery, and lead time improvements.
