Job Title: Assembly & Test Team Leader

Our aerospace manufacturing client are seeking a dynamic Team Leader to drive critical delivery targets and champion improvements across assembly and test operations.

In this supervisory role, you will report to the Manufacturing Manager, taking ownership of key performance indicators for Assembly and Test programs. You will lead a team of skilled technicians, ensuring compliance with company procedures, managing production processes, and delivering high-quality products to meet deadlines. This role also involves reviewing team performance and identifying training needs

Key Responsibilities - Assembly & Test Team Leader

  • Ensure daily operations comply with Health & Safety policies and guidelines
  • Manage, develop, and motivate a team of highly skilled technicians to achieve ambitious targets
  • Leverage team strengths and skills to meet business and customer demands effectively
  • Take accountability for product quality, adhering to established quality systems, processes, and procedures
  • Oversee collaboration to resolve technical, quality, logistical, and personnel challenges
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure delivery targets are consistently met

Key Qualifications - Assembly & Test Team Leader

  • Experience with Continuous Improvement projects is preferred
  • Familiarity with working within a recognized quality management system
  • Previous team leader experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of lean principles and their practical application
  • Strong analytical skills to manage and coordinate complex manufacturing processes.
