Job Role – Engineering Manager
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager the Engineering Manager shall lead the engineering team through day-to-day activities for both in production programs as well as R&D projects, and strategy development. Responsible for a team of 25+ engineers/apprentices, including multiple disciplines and test engineering.
Duties – Engineering Manager
• Assign engineering resources to projects
• Escalate appropriate problems with solutions to varying business leaders
• Think strategically on alignment between technology and division roadmaps
• Mentor and guide development discussions for engineers at all levels
• Ensure engineering support for production
• Oversee the development of future technologies
Experience/Qualifications – Engineering Manager
• Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• Demonstrable strategic thinking and business acumen
• Proven leadership abilities
Candidates who are currently an Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer, Design Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Head of Design, Senior Engineer, Principal Senior Engineer, Test Manager and Engineering Director could be suitable for this role.
